The Economics of Climate Change

The Department of Economics, at the University of Copenhagen, is again this year organizing a Summer School called "The Economics of Climate Change", Faculty: Associate Professor Robert Mohr, University of New Hampshire.

The course

This summer the Department of Economics at the University of Copenhagen offers you a unique chance to get a deep insight in to the economic issues regarding global climate change. The intensive master class "Economics of Climate Change" introduces students to the international frameworks and policies to deal with climate change and develops economic models to analyze and compare the consequences of different regulatory approaches. The course explores how climate change relates to issues of non-renewable resources, distribution, development, technological progress and social cost-benefit analysis.

Period

The Summer School runs over three weeks - from July 13th to 31st 2009 - and is open for interested academics, PhD students and highly qualified graduate students.
